Possible Crested jay seen from below in rain forest. Woodpecker species seen in rainforest and also on Palau Ubin: presumably Flameback (Goldenback, D. javanense).

Numerous long-tailed macaques. Wild pig on Palau Ubin. Several water monitors (Varanus salvator) and possibly other similar species. Plantain squirrel (Callosciurus notatus) and the introduced Slender squirrel (Sundasciurus tenuis).

Short-beaked echnida near Anna Bay (Port Stephens). Various kangaroos and wallabies seen from train, presumably mostly Eastern grey kangaroos. Various sharks, possibly including tiger shark, and also a manta ray, seen off Fraser Island. Also a python.
